Hi! I am a third year PhD Student at the ACME Lab ( formerly THING Lab ) at the ATLAS Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder. I research methods and tools to facilitate participatory design of shape change / actuation. I primarily design with school aged youth ( 7 to 21 y.o. ) to create, build, deploy, and evaluate tangible interaction systems. While exploring these tools/techniques I aim to enrich design partners' socio-emotional well-being. For instance, through: telepresent play, stress intervention, personal expression, and informal learning.
