Hi! I am a recent PhD Graduate (Aug. '26) of the ACME Lab, part of the ATLAS Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder. In my research, I build long-term community partnerships and facilitate participatory workshops that broaden who gets to shape robots and embodied AI. In addition, I develop techniques—such as tangible toolkits and interactive experiences—to strengthen community participation in the design of these technologies, arguing that participatory design is shaped as much by the materials people design with as by who is invited to the table. Ultimately, my work supports more inclusive technological futures by developing systems that better reflect community needs and creating methods and tools that help researchers collaborate more effectively with the communities they serve.
